Good Day!

I'm a student of Computer Engineering and I would like to say that your program has helped me a lot in my college project of creating a USB device. I was able to create a firmware for the PIC18F4550 written in assembly using MPASM and I used your usbGenericHidCommunications_3_0_0_0 class and modified it to be able to read and write reports using the control pipe. The firmware is far from perfect but it's already working properly. Moreover, I'm really new to this unmanaged memory thing and in using the Marshal methods. I would really be grateful if you could recommend me a reference on the said subject matter.

We are also creating a compilation of the references that we've used in creating this project for the use of the future generation of students in our university. I would like to put a link on your site in the said document so that the readers may also be able to see your work, if that is fine with you.

Thank you for sharing your knowledge...

Respectfully,
Demosthene

Hi

I can't say that I found one particular guide which focused that much on unmanaged code in C#. Mainly I used google to find good on-line examples of similar code and then used that to build upon in creating the library.

As for sharing and linking the code that is the sole purpose of open-source :) please feel free to link back to the project in anyway you see fit.

I'm glad you had success with the project and I wish you the best of luck in your studies!

/Simon
