I've tried to figure out how to remove the second port completely (since I need an actual GND to the joystick for the autofire circuit), but the best I have managed so far is to turn port 2 into a "USB input device" that can not start. Any hints on this?

Edit: Nevermind. I discovered that setting "Number of interfaces in this cfg" in usb_descriptors.c will stop the second port from being recognized.

Thanks for the fantastic adapter, Simon.

Glad you got that sorted :)

I had a bunch of TAC2s when I designed that adaptor which don't have autofire. However I guess it's simple enough that you could make two of them if you don't want to have the multiplexing running.

Good luck with it!

It's working great now. I just replaced pin 11 with GND and the autofire circuit works flawlessly.
