Due to siteground.com and the totally unreasonable behaviour of their customer service personnel I was forced to move to a new host or face a massive increase in cost (from 10 USD a month to 180 USD a month!). Apparently 'unlimited' doesn't mean to them what it means to the rest of the English-speaking world...

However, a good friend of mine has come to the rescue with a new home for the site and the site's DNS records should be updated completely within the next 24 hours. I hope there will be no disruption to the site's traffic, but if there is I will try to fix everything as quickly as possible.

The forums are now upgraded and back online. If you got an 'unavailable' message that was the old host waiting for the DNS to update and point you to the new server.

I'm going to upgrade the main wiki software shortly too, shouldn't take too long (I hope!)

The move to the new host is now complete and things seem to be working fine. Now I can get back to doing some electronics!

Apologies if you experienced site or forum unavailability; siteground.com only gave me 7 days notice to pay up or shut down. If you are thinking of setting up your own web-site I can quite happily recommend that you avoid them like the plague.
